Küsterer Kusterer Maibock

The Bavarian answer to Einbeck’s Heller Bock – with an Americanized kick: we bumped up the alcohol and hopped it up a bit – this malty, bready lager has a spicy finish, yet drinks dangerously easy. It’s the perfect salvo to open up summer or keep the fire burning in any cool weather.

Christoph Küsterer

Christoph Küsterer was the original German brewer in the Grand River Valley and Kent County. Arriving around 1844, his family’s brewing history lasted nearly a century. We’re proud to pay tribute to his legacy as the region’s first craft brewery focused on German styles. Our Küsterer Biers are brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot (German Beer Purity Law) and contain only water, malt, hops and yeast.
