A fan of shade trees in the Biergarten, Tiger baseball, Steeler football, Chopin concertos, N.W.A. on cassette, and questionable clothing choices, he’s the man behind Gemütlichkeit in Cedar Springs.

Can I get gear? A T-Shirt, Sweatshirt, Sticker, Hat or other items?

Our store is located next door at The CSBrewery Shoppe. You can also visit our online store using the tab above.

What kind of beer are you going to brew?

We’ll be creating a variety of great beers, of course, but we will definitely be focused on some traditional Bavarian, German and European styles that are less common in the craft brewing world. Küsterer Biers are Bavarian and German styles, named for Christoph Küsterer, the original German brewer in West Michigan, who founded a century-long brewing legacy in our region. Cedar beers include American craft styles and influences from around the world.

We’ll look forward to your feedback, as our selections will change often.

Can I order a keg?

We occasionally have a very limited number of kegs available for take out sales. You can inquire by contacting sales(at)csbrew(dot)com. We recommend at least two weeks’ notice and please note that not all sizes or keg styles are available at any given time.

What kind of menu will you have?

We have a full American pub and smokehouse menu available, along with a traditional Bavarian menu – dishes we came to love while living abroad.

You can view our menu using the tabs above.

Who is the brewer? Who is the chef?

Our head brewer is Matt Peterson, most recently with St. Louis Brewery / Schlafly Brewing Company, out of St. Louis, Missouri. He is originally from Northwest Indiana.

Our head chef is Shaun Wooden, most recently with the Gillmore Collection, and originally from Sand Lake, Michigan.

Where can I find your beer?

Our beer is currently on tap and will rotate regularly! You can view our Tap List from the menu above.

You can also find our draft beer at select restaurants, bars, taverns and tap houses throughout Michigan.
