Küsterer Pale Bock

This “Heller Bockbier” is Einbeck’s most famous lager and remains the price of the city’s brewing tradition and is still made today as their “Einbecker Ur-Bock Hell.”

This is a hearty lager with a soft malty sweetness and a refreshing, clean body. It’s mildly balanced finish blends together in this sneaky lager, with just enough devilish heat to enhance the spring time glow.

Enjoy it carefully, as this one may sneak up on you.

Christoph Küsterer

Christoph Küsterer was the original German brewer in the Grand River Valley and Kent County. Arriving around 1844, his family’s brewing history lasted nearly a century. We’re proud to pay tribute to his legacy as the region’s first craft brewery focused on German styles. Our Küsterer Biers are brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot (German Beer Purity Law) and contain only water, malt, hops and yeast.
